I started my first law blog in late 2005 and things were very different back then. I've no doubt you experienced skepticism in 2006 when you started your law practice.

I'm convinced that things have changed. Haven't yet read that book, so I'll add it to my reading list.I'm interested in what he considers to be a "disruptive technology".

Thanks for your comment!

When I opened my virtual law office using web-based software in 2006, there were more than a few attorneys who were skeptical that the public would want to obtain legal services online. Three years later, my virtual law practice is going strong and other attorneys are also now using web-based solutions to deliver online legal services with completely virtual law offices or are using piecemeal technologies to take at least a part of their practice online. Richard Susskind's new book, The End of Lawyers?, discusses the impact of disruptive technologies on the practice of law. It should be at the top of every lawyer's "to read" list this year.
